TOMER’s 10-song album North is scheduled for 2027 following two years of collaboration with producer Dor Daniel. Three singles are planned ahead of the release, with the first currently targeted for February.
A temporary move to Los Angeles set the writing process for TOMER’s forthcoming album North in motion. From hundreds of songs came a smaller selection, followed by two years in the studio with producer Dor Daniel. Ten tracks now make up the full-length project, due in 2027.
North follows TOMER’s debut EP Foretold, released in 2023. That seven-song collection introduced his recorded work during a period that also included performances in Tel Aviv, Kyiv, and Los Angeles. His appearances included Tmuna Club, Bel Etage, The Viper Room, and The Mint, with a standalone single arriving later that year.
Since those releases, TOMER has concentrated on developing new material through writing, composition, production, and recording. North brings that work into focus, representing his first new music since 2023 and his transition from an EP to a full-length album.
Finding the Album Within the Songs
The initial writing period produced far more material than a single record could hold. TOMER narrowed hundreds of songs to a few dozen before bringing them to Daniel, establishing the starting point for their collaboration.
Across the following two years, they developed the recordings and settled on the ten songs that would become North. Live instrumentation—including drums, bass, and guitars—formed a central part of the sessions, with time devoted to shaping the arrangements and performances.
The finished project reflects both the breadth of the original songwriting period and the decisions made in the studio, gathering that extended process into one ten-track release.
First Releases Planned for 2027
“You Deserve Better,” “Half A Broken Heart,” and “Billionaire” are the three singles planned ahead of North. February 2027 is the current target for the first release, while the exact dates and running order of the singles remain to be confirmed. Music-video shoots are also planned.
Following the album’s arrival, TOMER intends to tour, with summer 2027 tentatively proposed. Dates and destinations have not yet been announced.
The forthcoming singles will provide the first introduction to North before the complete album follows in 2027, bringing TOMER’s latest period of songwriting and recording to listeners.
