Thirteen-year-old DJ prodigy Dario Di Bona is set to debut his first single, “Jaded,” on March 21st, under the esteemed record label Tankfloor/WMG. This release marks the commencement of what is anticipated to be an extraordinary career in music.
Hailing from Padua, Italy, and raised in Geneva, Switzerland, Dario unearthed his passion for electronic music at the remarkably young age of four. His journey began during a family vacation to Ibiza, where he was captivated by a DJ performance at a beach club. A subsequent exhilarating experience in Courmayeur, Italy, further solidified his aspirations, prompting him to request a mixer from his father that very day, with a determination to excel in the art of DJing.
By the age of seven, Dario took the stage for the first time at a beach club event in Italy, successfully energizing a crowd of 1,000 attendees. His trajectory soared from that point forward. At eight, he made his debut in Dubai and was featured in an interview with the renowned Italian DJ Albertino on Radio Deejay. That same year, he performed at his first major event—a New Year’s Eve celebration in Venice, captivating an audience of 18,000. His rising prominence was further highlighted by a cover feature in South America’s Rocking Talent magazine.
A brief video showcasing his DJ set in Venice amassed over 2 million views on Instagram. By the age of nine, he made a significant impact in Ibiza with a live DJ performance on Ibiza Global Radio, accumulating an additional 1 million views on Instagram. That summer, he also graced the stage at the renowned Chezz Gerdi beach club in Formentera.
At just ten years old, Dario headlined a large beach club event attended by 10,000 people, followed by a breathtaking open-air festival performance in his hometown of Padua, where he engaged 80,000 attendees in Prato della Valle, the largest square in Europe. The following year, he showcased his talent in clubs across Rome, Geneva, and Monte Carlo, delivering a heartfelt performance at Extra Extra, a legendary venue that holds sentimental value for his family.
