This Mexican producer duo The Criminal Sounds have been making serious noise in the music industry for some time now, thanks to their roles as event organisers via their own agency, before becoming producers and entering the forefront with their own project. When they aren’t in the studio, this duo work tirelessly to produce club nights, festivals and other events in Mexico, growing their network and strengthening their bond to the scene. Professionals by day, party producers by night, The Criminal Sounds aim to build on their busy 2024 schedule, with releases like ‘All About You’, ‘Lately’ and ‘This Is What We Do’. Returning in 2025 with their first release of the year ‘Deep Lies (VIP Edit)’, a reimagined version of a previous production by the Mexican duo.
Originally releasing back in 2021 under previous alias Criminal Sounds, ‘Deep Lies’ was an early production by the Mexican duo, enlisting fellow Mexican artists BW, Tadeo Fernandez and Onyra to create an energetic and bouncy mainstage anthem. Now, ready to showcase their new and improved sound under a new alias, The Criminal Sounds team back up with the original cast to give ‘Deep Lies’ a VIP Edit – an ode to those who were there from the start. The reimagined version gives a more futuristic and slightly progressive facelift to the already banging track, perfect for mainstage parties across the world this summer!
The Criminal Sounds are a DJ/producer duo hailing from Mexico, formerly known as simply Criminal Sounds, the pairing has been a fixture of the local South American EDM scenes for a while now, thanks to successful releases like their remixes of Cristian Marchi & Luciana’s ‘Keep Calm and Twerk On’, INNA’s ‘Gimme Gimme’ and Alexandra Stan’s ‘I Did It Mama’. The pairing has also played at clubs and festivals around the world, including tours in their native Mexico, India, Nepal, Peru, China, Italy, El Salvador and more. Recently they performed their biggest show yet, making their debut on EDC Mexico’s mainstage – showcasing ‘Deep Lies (VIP Edit)’ and other exciting projects to come!
