Meta has recently introduced its Meta Verified program in the United Kingdom, which offers a paid verification service for both Instagram and Facebook at a monthly fee of £9.99. This service is primarily targeted towards creators and includes an array of benefits, such as proactive impersonation protection, customer support, and the coveted blue badge for verification. As a professional solution, Meta Verified is designed to enhance the credibility and authenticity of creators, while safeguarding their online presence.

In February, the company introduced its subscription plan to users in Australia and New Zealand, followed by the Meta Verified feature for U.S.-based users in March.

Meta introduced its verified program in response to Twitter Blue’s paid verification feature, which was relaunched by Elon Musk’s Twitter. This move highlights the importance of verified accounts and demonstrates Meta’s commitment to providing a professional and trustworthy platform for its users.
