One of the longest-standing electronic music festivals in Asia, Djakarta Warehouse Project #DWPXV is thrilled to announce the first phase lineup for its fifteenth anniversary edition, set to take place from 8-10 December 2023 in GWK Cultural Park, Bali, Indonesia.
For over a decade, DWP has been a beacon of electronic music culture in the heart of Southeast Asia, transforming Jakarta into a global dance music epicentre. With every passing year, DWP has consistently delivered unforgettable moments.
Celebrating the 15th anniversary of DWP this December, this edition is not just about the music; it’s about unity, diversity, and the shared love for electronic music that has brought us all together over the years. DWP has become more than a festival; it’s a cultural phenomenon that transcends borders and languages.
Through a video trailer, #DWPXV announced 7 names that includes 5 of the headliners:
Making a much-awaited return after 10 years, David Guetta will be back as one of DWP’s main stage headliners. DJ, producer, artist and an international icon, David Guetta is currently the #4 most streamed artist on Spotify globally, with 2 Grammy awards, 11 Grammy nominations, over 40 billion global streams, 50 million records sold worldwide, over 70 million monthly Spotify listeners and has been voted the world’s best DJ in the DJ Mag ‘Top 100’ three times. David Guetta will be back performing in Indonesia after 10 years to liven up the #DWPXV stage.
Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike have also been announced as one of the headliners. Becoming the first ever duo to win the World #1 DJ’s crown at the prestigious DJ Mag Top 100 DJs Poll in 2015, they regained the top spot in 2019, after coming in at #2 for the previous three consecutive years. Their special live shows have propelled them to global stardom, making them two of the most prominent figures in modern dance music.
DJ SNAKE will also be back to enliven #DWPXV this year after his memorable performances at DWP 2016 and DWP 2022. DJ Snake is a Grammy-nominated producer and artist who debuted into the international scene with singles “Bird Machine” and “Turn Down for What” in 2013. The song “Turn Down for What” was certified gold and platinum in 2014 and the song reached the top ten of the Hot 100 in April 2014.
The next headliner is world-renowned Australian house and techno producer Fisher. Now based in Los Angeles Fisher released the single “Losing It” on 13 July 2018, reaching number one on the Australian Club Tracks chart and the US Dance Club Songs chart, and charting in the top 25 of the US Dance/Electronic Songs chart. It was nominated for Best Dance Recording at the 61st Annual Grammy Awards and voted number two in the Triple J Hottest 100, 2018.
Next up – and known for their groundbreaking contributions to the electronic dance music scene – two out of three Swedish House Mafia members, Steve Angello B2B Sebastian Ingrosso join as another of the huge headline acts at #DWPXV. Both Steve Angello and Sebastian Ingrosso received consecutive Grammy nominations for ‘Best Dance Recording,’ with ‘Save the World’ going platinum in 2012 and ‘Don’t You Worry Child’ achieving quintuple-platinum status in 2013. They sold out in Milton Keynes Bowl and Madison Square Garden, and have delivered historic sets at Coachella, Ultra Music Festival, to name just a few.
Last but by no means least, #DWPXV has also added iconic Brasilian artist Alok and Swedish duo Galantis to the lineup, all of whom will deliver their own unique performances to Bali this December
In addition to the main festival, festival organisers Ismaya Live are excited to introduce DWP Music Week — an extended celebration spread across multiple venues, seamlessly integrated with the main event. This visionary concept aims not only to enhance the festival experience but also to make a significant impact on the local economy and tourism industry. The opening of DWP Music Week will be held on the 6th of December 2023, while the series will be held simultaneously on the 7th December 2023 in several nightclubs partners. Continuing the party with #DWPXV for 3 days from 8 – 10 of December 2023, the closing party will be held on the 11th of December 2023.
