The infectious beats of Amapiano are set to pulse through the UK and Ireland this September with the Rap Academy UK & Europe Tour 2024. This musical extravaganza, born from a collaboration between Manchester’s Pie Radio and the Kings of Amapiano, brings together a constellation of South African talent. The tour features Shakes and Les, DJY Biza, Success, 031 Choppa, Ice Beats Slide & Sbuda Maleather, and Zee Nxumalo, each bringing their unique flair to the Amapiano genre.
The tour journey begins in Dublin on September 14th at Vela, then moves to Glasgow’s Slay, Birmingham’s LAB11, Manchester’s Factory International, and concludes at London’s E1 on September 29th.
As part of the Manchester leg of the tour, there will also be a special event on September 24th. The “Future of Amapiano” panel at Factory International will feature Zeus Omega, an advertising strategist for DJ Uncle Waffles, alongside Rap Academy artists Shakes & Les, Zee Nxumalo, and DJY Biza.
