What started with a chance meeting at an outdoor doof in Australia has grown into an ongoing collaboration between WibeZzand Canadian artist May-Ah. Three years after first crossing paths, the two musicians have released “DRIP,” their third track together.
WibeZz—also known as Felix Wiele—works across dubstep, bass and freeform bass, bringing a forward-thinking approach to the 140 scene. His sound combines deep low-end pressure, experimental arrangement and tribal-inspired rhythmic details. Having released through several labels, especially within the U.S. bass community, he continues to develop a style that refuses to stay in one lane.
May-Ah’s vocals are at the heart of the new release. Her warm, delicate tone adds an emotional and melodic layer to WibeZz’s bass-heavy production, giving “DRIP” a balance between immersive atmosphere and underground dancefloor intensity.
The pair’s story began with their first song, “Illusions,” which was created shortly after they connected in Australia. Now, following a year since their previous release together, “DRIP” arrives as another step forward for the duo—one that captures their shared creative energy while opening the door to more experimental territory.
